Your First Visit

This first visit is the foundation of what we hope will be a long and happy relationship – and it starts the moment you walk in the door. During this visit, we will greet you like the friend we know you will become, show you around (so you know where the bathrooms are!), and introduce you to the team if you want. We then sit down with you and have a conversation about what you want and think you might need. We want to know what is important to you. Did you come in for something specific? Once we have your health history and a full understanding of your oral health goals, we will begin taking your x-rays, complete a periodontal charting, and take a series of photographs.

This is when Dr. Ott steps in to start your comprehensive exam which includes:

Review of x-rays and periodontal charting
TMJ check
Manual/visual and VELscope oral cancer screening
Full examination of every tooth
Gum and soft tissue overview
Head, neck, and jaw check

Easy, convenient, comfortable. They may sound like buzzwords because we say them so often, but to the team at Panhandle Dental, they are more than words, they are a philosophy of care. We even want to make affording your dentistry fit in that category! Not only do we take all major credit cards like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover, we also offer CareCredit financing with a variety of payment schedule options. We even have an option that lets you pay your bills online! All you have to do is call our office during business hours and we will give you a temporary password. Then, just sign in to our secure payment portal.

Of course, we also accept most insurances and will file your insurance for you to maximize your benefits.
